Who Is More Rote?

How do kids (age 5-10) figure out when other people are being rote? After we introduce you and your child to the study and explain what we mean by "rote", you and your child will watch 7 pairs of videos (14 videos total). After watching each video pair, your child will click on the person they thought was more rote, and they will tell us a little bit about why they made that choice! This study will help us understand how we reason about the behavior of the people around us, starting in early childhood.
